Description
Aspect Sydney has a 6 level building on Goulburn St
close to Hyde Park, George Street’s entertainment
area and Chinatown. The school is only minutes from
the train station and bus stops. It has a multimedia
computing centre with free Internet access, sunlit classrooms
and a student café with a garden balcony.
Accommodation
Students have two accommodation options to choose from:
a homestay family home (double room, 16 weekly meals
for students over 16 years of age) and a hostel (single
or double room with private bathroom, kitchen, laundry
and internet access, for students over 18 years of age).
Academics
Courses can be taken for up to two weeks or a year.
Of the wide variety offered, the most commonly taken
course is the Premier Intensive Course. The general
English classes concentrate on key aspects of reading,
writing, conversations and listening. The Course also
includes sessions in the multimedia centre to reinforce
classroom learning. There is also a wide range of elective
classes offered on various subjects of particular interest
(business English, Australian culture, art and literature,
and exam preparation for Cambridge, TOEFL and IELTS
exams).
Activities
Aspect Sydney offers activity and excursion packages.
Sydney is a beach paradise for all water sports, including
surfing and sailing, however there is also a lot of
culture to enjoy. Among the different activities offered,
students can choose from a city tour around Sydney,
sports courses at Bondi Beach, excursions to the Blue
Mountains…
