Description
Cairns is situated north of the Tropic of Capricorn, reason for which the climate has only two seasons: the winter is the dry season, with temperatures between 18º and 28º C. The wet season (summer) has temperatures varying between 23º and 31º C. The school uses a modern building with large gardens and student lounges with kitchen and television and video equipment.

Accommodation
The school offers its students accommodation in carefully selected family homes according to students’ requests and interests. It is also possible to opt for accommodation in houses or apartments shared with other students, renting an apartment or staying at a hostel with kitchen.

Academics
Among the programs offered by Cairns Language Centre are: the General English program which involves 25 hours of classes per week in small classes (a maximum of 15 students) and morning classes with elective subjects in the afternoons (Pronunciation Clinic, Australian Studies, Business English, among others). Levels range from beginners to Advanced levels. The school also offers preparation courses Cambridge Certificate examinations and work and study programs.

Activities
The school organizes recreational activities so that its students can take advantage of their free time having fun and meeting people from all over the World. Some of these acridities include beach parties, theme nights, visits to restaurants and participation in various sports such as badminton, tennis, foot ball and swimming, among others.
