Description
With the spectacular backdrop of mountains covered in tropical jungle forest and the fabulous Coral Sea, Cairns possesses an amazing landscape. Its template climate the year round allows for a relaxed life style. Cairns is a cosmopolitan city with many cultural, sporting and social attractions. The school’s building is a beautiful colonial building that has been remodelled with a wide veranda overlooking the mountains. The campus is shared with Martin College, which allows the school’s students to interact with Australian students.

Accommodation
The school offers various accommodation options for its students to choose from. They can opt for homestay with an Australian family, a hotel, a hostel or renting an apartment individually or together with other students.

Academics
The school has a wide range of courses to offer, all involving personalized teaching methods so that each student can control his or her own headway in the language. Courses range from beginner to advanced levels and are given in small groups or individually. Emphasis is placed on areas such as conversation, comprehension, reading and writing. The Standard Course covers all main areas of language skills, focusing on fluency and effective communication.
The Intensive Course offers the opportunity for rapid progress. Based on the same structure as the Standard Course, afternoon modules are added which include the option of more general English lessons or specific lessons on business, computing and academic preparation. Other courses include the Long Term courses study the language for a whole academic year and preparation courses for Cambridge University, TOEFL and IELTS examinations. Family and holiday programs are also available.

Activities
The Cairns Embassy Centre has a special staff member in charge of organizing a wide range of activities and excursions.
