Description
ECA is an institute that receives students from all
over the world, wishing to improve language skills necessary
for speaking the English language properly. The school
was founded in 1991 in Adelaide, South Australia. The
teachers at the Institute are renowned and experienced
professionals, the classrooms are modern and the student
lounge provides Internet access, a library, a dining
hall with a microwave, table tennis tables and a notice
board for new announcements.
Accommodation
ECA offers three sorts of accommodation: homestay in
an Australian family home, apartments shared with other
students and residences.
Academics
The General English Course is designed for those students
wishing to use English in everyday situations. It focuses
on four main skills: comprehension, conversation, reading
and writing. New students take a placement test before
classes begin so as to learn what level they should
be placed in. Courses range from beginners to advanced
levels.
ECA also offers English for Academic Purposes, Business
English, English for Hospitality, and English for Tourism
and organizes study tours to universities, schools and
businesses, consistent with English learning, visits
to educational places, visits to public local services
and businesses, homestay in Australian family homes
and cultural exchange.
