Description
Perth is the capital of Western Australia. It is a city
full of life, sun washed and bathed in a Mediterranean
climate of long summers and mild winters. Situated between
the Swan River and the Indian Ocean, it separated from
all other Australian cities by the enormous Australian
desert. Perth’s enormous popularity as a destination
for travellers is due to the unique combinations of
a metropolis and water sports paradise.
At only a few hundred meters from the city centre begins
the true Australian wilderness. From Mt. Eliza one has
a panoramic view over the city, the lake, the river
and surrounds. Further inland there are vineyards and
farms and the Outback is not far. The language

Accommodation
In Perth,
Sprachcaffe English School offers accommodation
to its students in carefully selected Australian family
homes, with half board and with a choice between individual
or shared rooms. Students can also choose to stay in
one of the university campus residences.

The city offers many possibilities for leisure activities,
with very varied surroundings, such as fantastic beaches
along the Indian Ocean, among others. Excursions to
Fremantle (19 kilometres south) a port town preserving
colonial styles and Rottnest Island (19 kilometres north)
are also possible. Students can participate in a large
range of sports in Perth, including swimming in the
ocean, diving, tennis, fishing, basketball, sailing
or surfing.
