Description
MLC has three centres in Melbourne, each one specifically
designed to provide the best possible learning and living
environment for the programs offered at each. The General
English programs and the English for academic purposes
programs take place at the City Campus, located right
on the corner of Flinders Lane and Elizabeth St. Programs
for High school preparation are offered at the Carlton
Campus (252 Lygon Street, Carlton) and also at the Box
Hill Campus (9-11 Ellingworth Parade, Box Hill).
Accommodation
MLC offers family homestay accommodation.
Academics
MLC specializes in teaching the English language at
the University with specialized services. General English
courses are offered to beginners, intermediate and advanced
students. These courses teach the English needed for
everyday life in Australia and is also a stepping stone
toward studying in English for academic purposes. Students
have access to a modern computing laboratory with Internet
and e-mail access.
Activities
Students can combine study with trips, excursions and
walks around Melbourne. MLC designs a social program
with optional extracurricular excursions to sporting
events, to the movies and local festivals.
