in the Southern Hemisphere; it is home to the main cultural
events and is considered Australia’s sporting
capital. A four season climate, the biggest concentration
of research and technological universities in Oceania

Accommodation
Holmes has an accommodation office to help students
settle into the Australian way of life. There is a range
of options to choose from: family homes, residences
and apartments.
Academics
Holmes offers different types of courses. In the Intensive
Course English is learnt in an everyday environment
and starting from the intermediate level students can
choose the topics seen in class. The Elite English Course
with 30 hours per week is aimed at students who wish
to learn English rapidly and effectively, in an intensive
study environment. Preparation courses for Cambridge
examinations and IELTS, among others, are also available.
Activities
The school offers the possibility of combining English
with diving courses and study excursions.
